Week One

We began the week with everyone sick and Dan out of town.  I think I'd managed my expectations pretty well, though because I didn't lose my mind or harm anything / anyone.  What did we do last week?  Well, we went to a couple parks, I mopped the kitchen for the first time in weeks (like 52), we met some nice Jehovah's Witnesses, went to the fire station, I realized just how many collection calls we get every day for someone named Elizabeth VanWeir, I blanched, peeled and quartered one million peaches (which surprisingly only transfers into about twenty jars), received several lectures from Little H about how I "shouldn't be so hard on my kids", and I finally weaned Buster off the bottle.

I guess it wasn't as productive as I'd imagined, but in my imagination I wasn't actually figuring in how time-consuming these kids are.  Anyway, here's a picture to prove that the kiddos survived.  Although it doesn't prove much because I could have taken it at any time for all you know.

    sounds like a pretty good week! totally impressed with the mopping and peaches. {they sound really good right now. the peaches, not the mopping.}

    I think you were extremely productive although you never mentioned which brand of bon bons you like best
