I know I don’t usually post about television shows, but there are a few programs, i.e. Law and Order (all three of them), Heroes, 30 Rock and The Office) in which I’ve developed deeply personal relationships with the characters.  I consider all of them family, and I’m sure they feel the same about me.  So you can imagine my shock and disappointment when I saw this picture.

                                              

That’s right—Mohinder and Maya.  He must have much lower standards than I thought because Maya is about the most annoying character on the show.  I mean, how lame is the power that makes black gunk come out of your eyes and kills everyone within a 2-mile radius.  I was really hoping she would be killed off or sent to an alternative future, but it seems they’ve extended her life by making her a love interest for one of my favorite people from Heroes.

I don’t think I can fully express in words the displeasure I’m feeling.  You could do so much better, Mohinder—super powers or not.  I’m going to just pretend he’s just investigating her stupid power by studying her eyes for the source of the black goo.  In the meantime, the writers for Heroes can come up with a new storyline before the new season starts.  I can’t be the only person who feels this way, right?
