Garfield Minus Garfield
"Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness in a quiet American suburb."
What possesses a person reading to Sunday comics to think to himself, "Hmmm....this cartoon is sort of funny, but wouldn't it be so much funnier if I turned it into a narrative on a psychologically disturbed loner?" Whatever it was that inspired Travors (I don't know his real name) to start this strange little blog, I'm forever grateful. It's so odd, but I can't stop myself from checking these out.
P.S. Thanks Joshua for pointing this out to me. I'm forever in your debt.

Garfield is the only one who gives life to Jon. Without Garfield, Jon is the loneliest person in the planet.
