The Sneeze

I am feeling just awful lately.  It started when we went to Nauvoo, and it’s followed me home.  I’m not sure what I’m allergic to, but it seems to be worse this year than ever before.  (My husband tells me I say that every year.)  I think I could tolerate the runny nose, sneezing and headaches, but the itchy eyes are killing me.  I’ve tried different medicines, and nothing works.  The daytime allergy pills I took on Sunday knocked me out for two hours.  So I guess that worked because technically I didn’t have itchy eyes for that time during which I was unconscious.  Eye drops work for about four seconds.  The directions say to only use one to two drops four times a day, but I think I could go through an entire bottle in that amount of time.

I keep rubbing and scratching, and it’s resulting in a wide mascara circle around my eyes.  I look like a raccoon.  I would consider wearing sunglasses to work if it wouldn’t result in wild rumors about how I’ve started staying out all night drinking.  So right now, I’m looking for a tool like this…

                                                         

Only I need it to be sized down to about one inch.  That way I can really get under the eyelid.
