Cousins

Probably the best part of the entire trip was watching the all the cousins interact.  Sterling definitely fits the role as the oldest child.  He was really good about leading the younger ones around and getting them involved in the different activities.  Little H really looked up to Abi and did everything she asked.  (Halfway through the trip I officially put Abi in charge of the little monster I could barely control.)  Jacob is so full of energy.  Hes eight months older than H.  She did her best to keep up with him, and always wanted to be doing whatever he was doing (sitting on Grandmas lap, sitting on Johns lap, pushing the stroller, playing with the exact toy Jake has in his hand at that very moment, etc.)  Miles was such an angel.  He is a few months older than H, and the youngest (for a couple more months anyway) in his family.  He was so mellow and well-behaved.  Baby Georgia is absolutely adorable and so happy.  She is a sweet girl.  For being so little, I cant believe how much she smiles!

At one point during the trip, I was sitting with Little H in one of the cabins used to demonstrate
a lot of the pioneer activities, like rope-making and baking bread from scratch.  Of course we couldnt sit still for very long, but fortunately there was an area with little handmade blocks for the younger kids to play.  Jake soon joined us and he and H went to town making a mess out of the blocks.  Miles saw the fun and came to make his own tower.  I was enjoying watching him because he was being so good and was so intent on his project.  He was doing so well and had the blocks built pretty high when out of nowhere, Little H ripped the next block from his hand.  While Miles was distracted with her, Jake kicked his tower over.  I tried to rush to his rescue to scold the other two and comfort him (because my daughter would have been screaming), but he just wasnt upset at all.  He looked from Little H and back to Jake, seemed to shrug his shoulders, and started all over.  These 06 babies (a name for the trio that will live on at least up until the time it becomes embarrassing) are reminiscent of the Three Stooges.  I cant wait to get them together again for another act.

With the little monster comment again? I know for sure she is loved and respected among all peoples and cultures. Why just last night at Chili's she bought our dinner, saved an old man from choking and stayed to help the bus boy do the dishes. Monster?, I say not.
